Some prep tools (dremel w/sandpaper wheel, and a stick with sandpaper affixed)
Also shown is the aluminum plate to be epoxied to the underside of the roof.
The roof metal seemed a bit too flexible to hold up the large antenna, hence the 16×8″ plate. Both the plate and the underside of the roof had to be sanded/prepped. Sandpaper on a stick doesn’t work too well.
