Finally we are ready to attach a feedline to the 6m LFA Copper Yagi-Uda antenna.
I drill two holes by first drilling a larger hole in the copper and then a much smaller hole in the wood to accept tight fitting wood screws.
Then I simply tighten the antenna feedline terminals to the copper pipe with two wood screws.
The nice thing about this arrangement is even if the wood splits, it is captivated by the copper pipe.
The second nice thing is once the screws are in place, there is no need to crimp the pipes as this is now captivated by the screw heads.
I did consider a variety of ways to solder the feedline to the copper pipe, but could not find a suitable way without melting or burning the PVC.
