Hawksbill mountain is an easy hike form the parking alongside Skyline Drive. The sturdy rock platform has good views of the Shenandoah valley. Many other peaks are visible from this point.
Our antenna has a clean shot to the north station. The view towards the south station is partially blocked by trees, but worked quite well regardless.
