Here we see the new 3/8 inch hole from inside the car. One nice thing about the 3/8 inch NMO mount (versus the 3/4 inch NMO) is you can place the hole close to objects like the dome light fixture. It wouldn’t have been a big deal to put the hole an inch away, but I wanted to have easy access from the dome light opening in the liner.
