The Ford Taurus is remarkably easy to work on. Remove the screws supporting the visors. Also remove the cover to the dome light. The head liner is glued to the roof so apply “gentle” pressure to break the glue bond.
I did not glue the headliner back. You might want to. My headliner seems quite happy without it.
