The finished NMO installation is not much to look at, but that’s part of the point. The installation is a no fuss, low profile, low visibility installation. This is mostly due to no outside cable, but the mount itself is quite small.
One thing to keep in mind at this point. While the o-ring between the top piece and the roof top makes a weather tight seal, this is not the case on the threads between the top and bottom piece.
So…
…don’t just drive off without installing an antenna or one of the caps available from antenna vendors.
