This is the worms eye view of the Laird MABO model of the NMO mobile mount for a 3/8 inch hole.
The coax cable installs from the right, laying down in the two tabs with the center conductor bending 90 degrees into the middle contact. This is different from the MBO model which has a traditional wire post with wire notch.
A quick heat with solder and squeeze of the tabs finishes the coax connection quick.
